About "BHQ Actions"
BHQ Actions is a set of 18 guidelines for having fun and keeping your brain healthy without pushing yourself too hard. These guidelines were extracted from academic research on lifestyle habits and psychological characteristics that have been scientifically shown to be effective for maintaining and improving brain health. The project is led by BHQ Project members who are neuroscience experts.
The Purpose of "BHQ Actions"
BHQ Actions were created to address the social issue of diseases that threaten brain health, such as dementia, in Japan's super-aged society. BHQ Actions was created to educate the general public about scientifically proven habits that are good for brain health so that they can take actions to improve their own brain health.
Dissemination of "BHQ Actions"
BHQ Actions is intended to be widely used by organizations and companies interested in brain healthcare. The "18 guidelines for having fun and keeping your brain healthy without pushing yourself too hard" that we have developed based on scientific papers are just guidelines. We hope that BHQ Actions will serve as a starting point for organizations, companies, and individuals to think about brain-friendly products and services, as well as brain-friendly habits and experiences, based on their respective positions.
